Next season Jefferson will step up to the next division, and it sure looks like they are ready. We were hoping to end our rivalry a bit differently, but — hey — we gave it everything we had.

It was a good, long Saturday of high school hoops. The JV and Varsity Boys fought valiantly but lost against tough competition. Varsity Girls dominated.

We enjoyed two excellent home contests last night. The JV boys fought hard against a strong team but lost in the end; the Varsity boys played ferociously and got it done.

Dawson Mustangs vs. Nederland Panthers

Last night the ‘Stangs basically dominated the Panthers 54-38. Everyone everyone on the team got a chance to play, and the $1 hot dogs were pretty darn tasty. Good times.
