According to sources within Dawson Basketball, the girls and JV boys got worked, and the varsity boys got lucky.
Varsity final: 40-34 W

The ‘Stangs gave it everything in the conference final, but it wasn’t quite enough for this highly organized and aggressive team.
The good news: Our boys finished 2nd in conference, and they play at regionals next Saturday (both firsts for Dawson).

Mustangs stage 4th quarter comeback in epic defensive battle to win in a thriller 43-42. Neither team established control throughout the game, as lead changes were common. Dawson lead by a point to the end the 1st quarter, trailed by a point at the half and two points going into the 4th. Trevor Horwith once again throttles one of the leading scorers in Colorado, as Big Rob and Cory combine for double digit blocked shots, and hold Heritage Christain to 41 points less than their previous district contest Tuesday night.
